      Reports that major healthcare reforms are planned in Israel, following a report from a government committee set up after the Israel Medical Association's decision to forgo its right to strike. Specific recommendations, including that binding arbitration will decide in the event of a breakdown in negotiations of issues between the government and the doctors; Suggestion that government hospitals are taken out of the direct control of the health ministry and turned into non-profit hospital corporations; Recommendation that the wages of public sector physicians at each level should be linked with those of judges at various levels.
