      The article describes a medical device that could bring about a way to offer a non-invasive assessment of coronary artery anatomy and physiology. The device combines computed tomography coronary angiography with single photon emission computed tomography. It can accurately evaluate coronary artery anatomy and blood flow within cardiac muscle. This technique could reduce the number of invasive medical procedures, such as stenting or angioplasties. The device was tested at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel.
