      The article presents some criteria for the selection of prospective nurses. One trait that nurses should possess is implicit obedience. A disobedient probationary nurse is useless and must be dismissed. Also, nurses should always be available to the needs of a patient. A smile or a courteous phrase is the simplest thing that patients require.
