  In this article the author talks about primary endocrine treatment for breast cancer in the elderly. Topics discussed include Patients with pET for a recurring ipsilateral breast cancer, history of malignancy elsewhere, primary tumor eventually treated or follow‐up less were excluded. when progression was diagnosed, endocrine treatment was changed to an alternative, and pET has been used with increasing frequency for the treatment of breast cancer in elderly, but without strict indications.
