    • Abstract:
The article reports on some forms of chocolate that can be a rich source of health-promoting phytochemicals. Some reports suggest that flavonoids in cocoa beans have potential antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and may improve blood flow. A 2017 study found that chocolate consumption was linked with a favorable impact on blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels. A 2014 study reported the association between high-flavanol intervention and improved memory.
