      Study is presented to formulate a distinctive form of paternalism, libertarian in spirit and acceptable to those who are firmly committed to freedom of choice on grounds of either autonomy or welfare. This kind of approach of libertarian paternalism would ensure freedom of choice, and will encourage private and public institutions to steer people in directions that will promote their own welfare by providing a basis for both understanding and rethinking many social practices, including those that deal with worker welfare, consumer protection and the family
