      Information about the World Biennial Forum No 1 held at Kim Dae-Jung Convention Centre in Gwangju, South Korea from October 27-31, 2012 is presented. Topics include the rise of Asia in the cultural, economic and political fields, freedom in curatorial decision-making offered by the Gwangju Biennale Foundation and the difficulty in preparing for Media City Seoul. The biennial featured several notable people including Jinsang Yoo, Kim Hong-Hee and Yongwoo Lee.
