    • Abstract:
The article discusses a study on the crystal structure of the organic compound, bis(4,6-diaminopyrimidin-2-yl) disulfide dimethyl sufoxide disolvate. It notes that the complete disulfide molecule of the compound is produced by twofold rotation symmetry and the carbon (C)--sulfur (S)--S--C torsion angle around the S--S bond is --85.70 (10)°. It cites that the molecules are linked via nitrogen (N)--hydrogen (H)...nitrogen (N) H bonds into strongly corrugated layers parallel to (001), producing an R²2(8) motif.
