      The article reports that Buddhist monks in Myanmar are living under fear after the military junta's crackdown on the Buddhist demonstrations. Due to the arrest of several hundred monks, many children monks have been withdrawn from monasteries. The monks carried out demonstrations against rise in fuel prices and the military government's economic policies. The government used force to suppress the demonstrations.
