      Keywords: abuse; Buddhism; Catholicism; power; silence EN abuse Buddhism Catholicism power silence 99 111 13 04/04/20 20200301 NES 200301 I enter Buddhist-Christian dialogue as a white, U.S., Catholic feminist living in this dreadful time of war, racial oppression, manufactured "national emergency" around immigration, sex/gender disrespect, climate change, ecological disaster, excessive wealth, and extreme poverty. To explore the power of silence in the work of justice, I look first at what it means to bring new dimensions to a religious tradition and then at how Catholic feminist social justice advocates "engage impasse" through communal contemplation and dialogue. Catholic Feminist Social Justice Advocates "Engage Impasse" In addition to hearing and amplifying these voices, Catholic feminist social justice advocates use silence.
